My buddy and I were walking around the area and stumbled upon this place. He’s a whiskey drinker and wanted to stop in. The place is extremely clean and the bartenders were/are awesome! My buddy had an old fashioned and he said it was one of the best he’s had. Long story short we ended coming back the next day to eat dinner and enjoy more whiskey. Burger was great! I absolutely love this place and will 100% be going back next time I’m in Burlington.

Didn't get food so can't comment on that. But we were greeted by a nice gentleman. The table service was great. Only got a gin and tonic and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great too. They had a nice gas fire place too.

Great place to have a whiskey or a beer. The food menu is limited, but the chicken sandwich was delicious. A really fun experience with a great atmosphere, and they have some board games too!

Went here last night with my friend and we had a good time. The atmosphere is amazing and the food was great (highly recommend getting the chicken sliders). Would definitely come here again.

Nice speakeasy vibes in downtown Burlington (VT). The Whiskey room didn't disappoint. Appears to have a good bar choice BUT we stopped in for some good whiskey. We're staying 1.5hrs away so we couldn't go in too much on whiskey tastings but my cocktail- The Sumac Sour was delicious! Not too big of a menu but who's really there for the food anyway! I love that the menu caters to meat eaters as well as vegetarians The Falafel Burger was 5 & the sweet potato fries were tasty-- especially with a side of the sriracha aioli Service was quick, attentive & on point! I will definitely be back to visit!!

The moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome & a smile. Mike served us the entire time, he was attentive, friendly and very accommodating. What a wonderful personality he had and gave us some interesting history about the place as well. We can’t wait to go back. They had nice cocktails & whiskeys, food was proper. I recommend trying this place out, it has a laidback vibe to it. They have a fireplace to the left when you come in.

Great place to sample whisky from different countries. Mike is super friendly and knowledgeable. Awesome selection and great vibes to settle in whilst sipping. Classic Irish pub feel.

An Unforgettable Evening of Whiskey and Warmth What an incredible find! The Burlington Whiskey Room transported my partner and me straight to the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of a classic Irish pub. The absence of TVs was a blessing, encouraging genuine conversation and allowing us to fully savor the experience. The bar staff were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their expertise guided us through a fantastic whiskey journey. We started with a flight that spanned the globe (USA, Ireland, Scotland, and even local Vermont offerings) before moving on to their stunning cocktails. I highly recommend the Catcher in the Rye, a masterful blend of Bulleit Rye, hazelnut liqueur, and chai bitters, and the Portrait of Mortimer and Mauve, which was like a sophisticated, liquid dessert with its rich Whistlepig Rye and maple notes. The food was on par with the drinks. The Goat Cheese Flatbread was a revelation—clean, refreshing, and bursting with flavor from the prosciutto, whiskey onions, and spiked blueberries. We ended our night with the Vermont Maple Cheesecake, which was easily one of the best I've ever had. If you love excellent craft cocktails, delicious food, and good conversation, this place is an absolute must-visit. We cannot wait to return.
